Biography
Premadonna Braddick, MA, LPC is a living testament that your past does not determine your future. Her life is proof that pain can become purpose, brokenness can become strength, and setbacks can become the foundation for extraordinary comebacks.
Born and raised in the foster care system in East Oakland, California, from the age of two until eighteen, Premadonna faced challenges that would have discouraged many. She struggled with depression, low self-esteem, and a poor self-image, yet she was also blessed with mentors who saw her potential before she could see it herself. Their wisdom, guidance, and unwavering belief in her life changed her trajectory forever. Those experiences shaped her deep conviction that one caring adult could transform a life, and they ignited her lifelong passion for mentorship and healing.
Rather than allowing her circumstances to define her, Premadonna chose to rewrite her story. Today, she dedicates her life to helping others do the same—guiding individuals, couples, and families from surviving to thriving and helping them find peace from broken pieces.
Premadonna earned a double Master of Arts from Oral Roberts University in Christian Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and was ordained into ministry by Bishop Gary McIntosh, equipping her to integrate sound clinical practice with faith-based principles for those who desire spiritually integrated counseling.
For more than 20 years, Premadonna has served as a trusted trauma therapist, providing individual therapy, marriage counseling, premarital counseling, and trauma-informed care. She is especially known for her work with teen girls, empowering young women to discover their worth, build resilience, and embrace the future they deserve.
Her clinical approach blends Bowen Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing her to meet clients with compassion while providing practical strategies for lasting transformation. Yet Premadonna often says her first degree came from UOL—the University of Life. The lessons learned through adversity gave her something no classroom could teach: genuine empathy, unwavering resilience, and the ability to walk beside others with authenticity and hope.
When you work with Premadonna, you're partnering with someone who doesn't simply understand trauma—she understands triumph. She believes every person has the power to rewrite their story, rediscover their purpose, and reclaim their peace.
Premadonna lives by a motto that reflects both her journey and her mission:
"When you have a setback, don't take a step back, because God is already preparing your comeback."
That belief is more than words—it is the story she has lived and the hope she inspires in every life she touches.
